Court-Ordered Community Service Hours
Daily Bread is a place of second chances. We understand more than anyone mistakes in life are made. Some mistakes result in the need to complete court-ordered community service hours determined by the law enforcement agency. If you are need of finding an agency to complete the required community service hours, you can complete them here at Daily Bread.
Daily Bread has opportunities for volunteering in our dining hall to fulfill community service hours, seven days a week from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Individuals completing community service hours must volunteer a minimum of FOUR HOURS.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-
Prepare and serve the meal (breakfast and lunch)
-
Clean the dining room before and after each meal.
-
Dishwashing and other duties as assigned.
RECOMMENDED ATTIRE:
-
Long pants (jeans)
-
A sleeved top.
-
Sneakers are best (rubber soled/closed toe shoes).
-
A ball cap or we can provide you with a hair net.
IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU RECORD YOUR HOURS on the log sheet located inside the dining hall. Please make sure your first and last name are legible. If you do not sign in, we cannot verify your hours.
Parking is on-site or along Waverly Ave (adjacent to Fee). The dining hall is the smaller of the two buildings on our campus highlighted by a pink/mauve colored door.
Click here to download our volunteer application form AND here for a second form. Please fill out BOTH forms and either email them directly to claudia@dailybreadinc.org or you can bring the completed forms on the first day. You may select the day you want to start and arrive promptly at 7am (8am latest).
Lastly, we will be happy to provide you with the necessary document(s) required, proving you completed your hours. Please allow up to SEVEN DAYS for us to provide you with the final documents. No exceptions.
